Angela's experiences that contribute to her teaching
1) Angela trained at the Royal Academy of Music where she developed all-round musicianship and a thorough cello technique. She then went on to study with Andre Navarra and Christopher Bunting, when her technique continued to be honed.
2) She entered a freelance career, playing with many different orchestras and ensembles.
3) She acquired a baroque cello and specialised in early music, meaning that she has specialist knowledge of baroque music. She played continuo cello with several different leading London orchestras. She plays a number of different 17th century instruments.
4) She trained and qualified as a Level 5 Suzuki teacher and is a teacher trainer and examiner.
5) She founded her own ensemble, The Revolutionary Drawing Room, for the purposes of developing the evolution of string technique and styles of playing different periods of music, in this case, Classical and Romantic.
6) She became a founder member of the ensemble Red Priest, a group that has performed all over the world.
7) She has taken various courses in Colourstrings, both in playing and the kindergarten course, as well as a course in Dalcroze.
8) She is a fully qualified teacher of the Alexander Technique which means that she is very careful with posture and movement in her lessons.
9) She teaches privately at home but in the past has taught in various public schools including Eton College, where she taught the present Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
10) She teaches all levels from newborn to professional, cello, baroque cello and Alexander Technique. She also runs a cello teacher training course for teachers wishing to develop their work.

Suzuki Teacher Training Course - comprising 9 weekends a year.
Workshops on specific subjects as part of the training weekends.
Parent course for parents of four year old children who would like to start cello lessons when they are ready.
