Alexander Technique

Angela is training to become an Alexander teacher. She was always puzzled by her individual lessons, as it seemed that each lesson was a single piece of a very large jigsaw. Now that she has some understanding of the practice and philosophy, there is much potential for expanding knowledge about the art and craft of cello playing.

The training is only the beginning; it is somewhat like one's three years as a music student. The subject is as large and one continues to learn throughout one's life. Its scope filters into every aspect of one's life; it is not just about posture or cello playing!
